790,000, according to Mike DiGiovanni(1) this is the count of vehicles sold by China in January. This is the first time in the automotive history that the USA are overtaken by another country, on this point. China could then become the next world's largest automotive market in the next years.
In 2008, 859,400 vehicles were sold during the same period, but the fact is that due to the current crisis the USA only sold out 656,881 units in January 2009… a 37.1% drop!
